Every year, Riley Blake Designs releases their Block Challenge, and this year, they’re revealing the final layout from the start! The 2025 RBD Block Challenge quilt is a great way to connect with the quilting community and learn new techniques and block designs. To help get your creativity flowing, Lori Holt colored the quilt in her Piece and Plenty collection with Riley Blake Designs. The pretty pinks and pops of aqua that Lori picked are sew fun!

I am trying to find the Bloom quilt a long,,is it new for 2025 or is it an old free quilt along?
if you mean the BLOOM by Lori Holt I believe it says it was 2016 in the photo above…I wonder if you can find something about it on Lori Holt blog? Good luck! It is a pretty one!
This design is very appealing to me. I wish precuts were available as the quilt isn’t very large. Thank you for this pretty design.
Wish I could afford all the fabric needed to make this. It’s beautiful!
I am looking forward to sewing along with this RBD challenge. I love the two collection choices you suggested, and decided on stash diving in my batiks.
Just bought the Piece and Plenty FQ bundle from Itching for Stitching in Dade City FL when in town for a wedding. Ready for the RBD sew along.
Love the design of this quilt however I want to use fabrics from my stash. There are so many different fat quarter bundles that all have different numbers of fat quarters in the bundle. It would be helpful if the fabric requirements list would include the number of fat quarters required.
Riley Blake’s blog has the fabric requirements.
Will Lori be releasing her layout for each block as they are released by Riley Blake so that we know what fabrics to cut for each block? Thank you FatQuarter Shop and Lori Holt for coloring the quilt in Peace and Plenty. It’s stunning! I can’t wait to start the sew along.
