We’re getting to the end of our 2014 Summer Book Club! Our ninth book pick is On the Run Again by Heather Mulder Peterson. This books is definitely a Fat Quarter Shop favorite and Kimberly’s favorite as well. Heather has designed fifteen runners and toppers created with precut fabric and the Triangler ruler from Anka’s Treasures. If you don’t have a lot of wall space to hang quilts or room to store all of your quilts, small projects are the best thing to make and decorate your home with. These projects are perfect for the busy quilter “on the run.”

This past year I tried to make a mini quilt each month (almost succeeded) because I have a tendency to give away all my quilts and if someone came into my house they wouldn't see any quilts – just fabric! Now it looks a bit more like a quilter's home!
I love making table runners and also pillows – both can be changed for a new season , use a small amt of fabric and more importantly, I can finish them!
