Hello, Quilters! With the weather cooling off, we’re welcoming in Autumn with an update on a popular pattern in our Classic & Vintage series, the Maple Leaf Quilt Block! Our Classic & Vintage series focuses on traditional quilt blocks with a modern twist!
The Maple Leaf quilt block (a free download) is a gorgeous vintage block from the Kansas City Star column that is simple to make! Four of these blocks make a cute mini quilt or table-topper that measures 23.5″ square. We’re providing a FREE pattern for you to make your own Maple Leaf Mini Quilt to bring some pumpkin spice to your home.
We made our Maple Leaf Mini Quilt with Fig Tree & Co prints from All Hallow’s Eve and Christmas Figs II collections, but we think it would look great in any fabric with some autumnal tones. The beauty of this quick mini quilt is that the blocks are easy to make and it’s a great scrap buster!
We used prints from All Hallow’s Eve and Christmas Figs II by Fig Tree & Co for Moda, Bella Solids Off White 9900-200 for background.
