Farm Girl Vintage 2 Quilt Along Part 6 - The Jolly Jabber Quilting Blog

Farm Girl Vintage 2 Quilt Along Part 6

What a ride! We’ve been sewin’ up a storm each week for the Farm Girl Vintage 2 Quilt Along and we’re in the home stretch now. We’re sew excited to see your progress. If you’ve been following along you know that there are 45 blocks of the Farm Girl Vintage 2 Sampler Quilt inspired by Lori Holt’s rural roots. The namesake book, Farm Girl Vintage 2, also contains 13 new projects, including quilts, pillows and a pincushion that use these cute-as-can-bee blocks!

We covered blocks 29-38 last month, and now we’re catching up on the remaining blocks.

Week 20: Blocks 39 and 40

The Sisters Quilt and Small Town blocks for week 20 were a bright and colorful adventure. Quilty staffer Teresa sewed them both as 12″ blocks.

Week 21: Blocks 41 and 42

Teresa sewed the Spring Blossom block and the Starry Nights block next. We love the timeless memories these blocks represent. Who doesn’t love a starry spring night?

Week 22: Blocks 43, 44 and 45

During Week 22, Teresa kept busy for the grand finish! These are the Strawberry Jam, Winter Quilt and Tending the Garden blocks.

Cream of the Crop

Let’s see the project inspiration some talented quilts have brought for these blocks! These can be saved for the Sampler Quilt or made into a quick and easy pillow or mini quilt. Tell us which block you are on in the comments!

  1. My top is finished but won’t be able to quilt it by your deadline. Had fun anyway!

    1. That’s okay. We’re only asking to see quilt tops. They do not have to be “quilted” tops with binding and batting.
