The bats and boos, is it cross stitch or just a pieced quilt?
It is both! This will be a conjoined SAL and QAL, where each week we will release a new part of each cross stitch and each quilt mystery pattern for the respective projects.

If we choose not to use the quilt kit when will the yardage requirements come out? I am thinking about using stash fabric.
Hi Kelly! The fabric requirements will be released two weeks before the QAL begins, and you will be notified via blog, email, and social media with enough time to prepare!
I am also interested in signing up for bats and boos mystery quilt. Thanks Kelly for your request for fabric needed. I would use my stash also.
I saw 2 different sets of embroidery thread. Is it an either/or, or will we need both?
I do not see the stitch count of Bats and Boo to see if I have a fabric piece of the appropriate size in my stash. Could you provide it please?
You can choose which you’d prefer to use. They like to give us options.

Bats and Boos cross stitch measures 93w x 93h, finishing at 6.75″ square when stitched on 14 count Aida!
Great idea to combine quilting with cross stitch! Will the cross stitch item be incorporated into the quilt?
No, we don’t have plans to do that but we sometimes add cross stitch to pillows 🙂

We don’t have a link to sign up, but if you subscribe to our blog you will receive notification when we announce the dates for it.

I’m looking sew forward to this mystery Bats & Boos quilt and stitch along! I love Halloween and making things to celebrate that fun time of year!! I’ve started gathering all my Halloween fabrics and flosses from my stash already so I’ll be ready to make up all the supplies needed as soon as the supply list is posted!!!✨💖✨
Just watched Javagirl Stiches flosstube and she was talking about the “Bats and Boos” SAL and it looked like she had a kit with the bag, floss, pattern, fabric, needle minder, and bitties. Is there a kit avaiable?
