If you’re new to our Charity Stitch Along, welcome! The way the fundraiser works is that we offer the Serendipity patterns as FREE downloads during the event for a suggested donation of $15 for the whole cross stitch pattern to our Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas campaign. We’ll start releasing the seven patterns that make up this chart on March 10, 2021. Every two weeks, here on the blog we will publish a new part of the chart.
About the Pattern
This pretty little piece can be stitched up in any size cloth you prefer. The stitch count is 100w x 116h, which finishes around 7.25″ x 8.25″ on 14 Count Aida. Yellows, blues and grays stand out on the inky background like stars on a night sky.
To make your cross stitch just like this one, you’ll need some floss and cloth. The colors you choose are up to you, but we’ve collected some items to get your stitching off to a good start. Download our complete Cross Stitch Supply List for all the details.

- Cross Stitch Floss. We recommend the DMC Thread Pack or Weeks Dye WorksThread Pack.
- Cross Stitch Cloth. We used Navy 14 Count Aida.

Kimberly, You and your (work) family are doing a great thing. Back in 2010 my son Sam was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma very rare cancer. We were blessed in 2012 with a Make a Wish to WDW to see a Night of Joy. Sam met Mathew West and Mercy Me Christian Music groups. Sam fought until August 2, 2014 when he lost his battle. He was soooo happy and our family sooo blessed by this Make a Wish. I love the up coming cross stitch project for February 1 (my 58th birthday). My home is in all the colors so just a great match. I do have a question if there is a kit for the stitching choice? I thank you for all you do. I also praise you for teaching your children about not healthy children. May your precious 4 stay that way and they have a long healthy life. Sam had a very short 14 years and we miss him every day!!! God Bless You!!!
