Happy Wednesday! Today we get to share two new patterns from It’s Sew Emma! This season, we named our patterns after places we adore in our hometown, and here are the first two to release…
Hyde Park is made for celebrations and soirees! Full of zig-zaggy, star-shiny goodness, we have nothing but happy thoughts for Hyde Park. Select a few favorite prints to create this beauty! Our original is made in red and coral prints The Front Porch by Sherri & Chelsi. You can also bring in color contrast for an equally awesome effect, such as this mint and red version in Hank & Clementine by Susan Emory. Hyde Park finishes at 68.5″ x 72.5″, a perfect size to lounge and cuddle with!
Walnut Creek is reminiscent of a vintage quilt discovered in a chest in the attic, pieced and quilted over long hours by candlelight. That’s not the story of how we came by this design, but it sure sounds romantic, huh?? In any case, the scrappy look and multiple focal features of this quilt always gives you something to study! There are so many gorgeous designs for your eye to follow, it will never get old. The pattern is available in Crib, Lap, Twin and Queen sizes. Our main quilt is made in New Hope by Jo Morton, and for a lighter, sweeter flavor, we have also shown it in Sequoia by Laundry Basket Quilts.
Both are available now, so let us know what you think. If you make any of these quilts, be sure to tag @itssewemma as well on Instagram and Facebook!
